A City Council resolution packet proposing a February 2026 hotel-tax election identifies York as the mayor's-office contact. That documents involvement in routing the proposal; it does not by itself identify the policy's author, prove Council passage or establish the election result. Separately, Council records list proposed travel support for his July 2025 Amiens visit. The public profile makes no financial assertion from that agenda entry while the supporting document, final Council action and actual reimbursement remain unreconciled.
KJRH reported that York worked on Nichols' mayoral campaign before joining his administration. The Oklahoma Eagle's December 2024 appointment coverage described him as a partner in Little Giant Consulting, working with suppliers serving political campaigns, and as a former field director for Friends of Joy Hoffmeister during her reelection campaign for state education superintendent. Those are attributed historical descriptions. They do not establish his current ownership interest, client list, compensation or the existence of a City contract.
The City lists York in the Library Commission's mayor/designee seat, with a reported start date of December 31, 2024. Its description assigns the commission collective responsibilities for appointing the chief executive, setting systemwide policies and hours, overseeing personnel policy, administering expenditures other than gifts, and acquiring and maintaining buildings. These are commission responsibilities, not unilateral powers held by York. The commission is also distinct from library fundraising organizations. The City page describes eleven members but displays seven City seats; that partial list should not be mistaken for the full commission.
Tulsa Global Alliance's 2026 board roster identifies York as the mayor's liaison, Governance Committee chair and a Development Committee member. It names Michelle Barnett as board chair. The organization's account of its 2025 Amiens sister-city anniversary places York in the Tulsa delegation and calls his position Manager of Executive Affairs, documenting another title in the transition from scheduler to his current job. TGA describes the partnership through student exchange, cultural programming and civic visits. Those activities provide context for York's liaison role without establishing that he directs every program or funding decision.
