Chief financial and operating officer, Tulsa PAC; Downtown Tulsa Partnership treasurer
An accounting and performance career connects arts operations, downtown governance and festival organizing.
Jen Alden leads finance and operations at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust and serves as treasurer of Downtown Tulsa Partnership. Her artistic work includes leadership of Oklahoma Movement and a Tulsa Opera directing credit. Original audits and a tax filing document the financial accountability attached to her PAC role.
The PAC’s biography says Alden earned an accounting degree at the University of Oregon and worked as a senior at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a financial-reporting senior at Williams, and controller at ETX Energy before becoming the PAC’s CFO in 2019. It dates her promotion to chief financial and operating officer to 2022. Her Oklahoma Movement biography describes dance training at the University of Oregon and Eugene Ballet and former service as Living Arts of Tulsa’s treasurer. These institutional biographies establish a career sequence; they do not supply dates for every earlier position.

The PAC Trust’s FY 2024 single audit reported finding 2024-001 concerning ARPA reporting. Two of four monthly statistical reports tested were late, and several reports contained inaccuracies that were subsequently corrected. The finding listed questioned costs as not applicable; the major-program compliance opinion was unmodified. Management’s corrective-action plan named Jennifer Alden, CFOO, as its contact and proposed accounting-team review before reports were delivered. The FY 2025 audit subsequently reported no current financial-statement or federal-award findings and said corrective action had been taken on 2024-001. This is an institutional control history with a documented follow-up, not a finding of personal misconduct by Alden.
Downtown Tulsa Partnership’s current governing-board roster identifies Alden as treasurer and gives her affiliation as the PAC Trust. The partnership describes its board as responsible for organizational governance and fiscal oversight. Its separate Tulsa Stadium Improvement District advisory committee monitors enhanced district services. Alden’s governing-board role should therefore be distinguished from membership of that separate property-owner advisory body, and from a municipal elected office.
Oklahoma Movement identifies Alden as its founding artistic director and currently lists her as production director and instructor. The organization says that in 2020, under Alden and its co-artistic leadership, the former Portico Dance Theatre broadened its emphasis on outreach, advocacy and education and adopted the Oklahoma Movement name with board support. This is a continuing organization’s account of its development, rather than evidence of a separate company. A different institutional record shows her work in production: Tulsa Opera credits Alden as stage director of The Medium, performed at Studio 308 on October 20–21, 2023. The credit concerns that production, not governance of the opera company.
KJRH identified Alden as Mayfest’s treasurer while reporting plans to move some 2026 festival activities to Mother Road Market after the University of Tulsa’s 2024 and 2025 stewardship ended. Oklahoma Magazine identified her more specifically as treasurer of the steering committee and quoted her on volunteer organizing. Together these accounts document a financial organizing role across Tulsa’s arts institutions. Their prospective event descriptions do not establish final attendance, receipts, fundraising proceeds or delivery of every planned activity.
The trust’s Form 990 for July 1, 2024–June 30, 2025, filed November 16, 2025, identifies Jennifer Alden as CFO and treasurer. Part VII Section A reports $204,683 of compensation from the organization, zero from related organizations and zero in its other-compensation column. Under that table’s instructions, reportable compensation covers the calendar year ending within the fiscal year: calendar 2024. The figure is neither a current salary rate nor a comprehensive statement of her personal income.
Interpretation
Alden’s documented work connects accounting systems and grant compliance with the production of performing arts. Her downtown treasurer role and festival organizing extend that financial work into other civic settings. These connections explain overlapping professional responsibilities; they do not, by themselves, show common ownership, coordinated institutional decisions or improper influence.
